How to Check Your Internet Connection Speed for Free

The following are the steps to be followed to know the internet speed using CNET.

1. Go to google.com

2. Type CNET speed and click on Google search. From the links displayed below, you need to select CNET bandwidth meter: online speed test – CNET reviews.

3. Here, enter the following information: area code, current internet connection type. You can enter your ISP which is optional. Now click the go button.

4. The bandwidth meter online speed test results get displayed. And your internet connection's speed is highlighted in red color.
