If you're constantly writing money amounts using rupees, which is the basic monetary unit India, Pakistan, Nepal, Seychelles, and other South Asian and East African countries, then you'll be relieve to know that there is a font you can use to create the rupee symbol in any word processor on your computer.

If you're interested in downloading this free font, it's available here. It's not in English, so if you need to, just follow along with the video to download and use this rupee font. The file size is just 1.49 KB.

Step 1: Download the rupee font from the above link.

Step 2: Click the inrfont.zip link.

Step 3: Copy INR_logo.ttf file to Windows\Fonts folder. Font is in .ttf format.

Step 4: Now you can use this font in any word processor, Select INR font.

Step 5: And then by pressing key combination Shift+4, i.e. dollar sign $ from the keyboard.
