In this video tutorial, viewers learn how to find their I.P address in Windows 7 and Vista. Begin by clicking on the Start menu. Then type "cmd" into the search bar and press Enter. When the command prompt window opens, type in "ipconfig" and press the Enter button. Now search through the list and find a line that says "I.P address" or "IPv4 address". The numbers will be divided by periods. Another way is to open Control Panel and select Network and Sharing Center. Then click on your local area connection link and click on Details to find your I.P address.
